David Brown


David Brown brings over 40 years of global experience to the boardroom, combining deep expertise in finance, strategy, corporate governance, and private equity.

He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he advised both local and multinational clients across offices in Dallas, London, Houston, and Moscow. Mr. Brown served as Chief Accounting Officer at Dresser, a $2 billion firm with $350 million in earnings, during its acquisition by General Electric, and later assumed the role of CFO post-acquisition. Throughout his career, he has held CFO positions at leading organizations, including Authentix, Trillium, Tellabs, and MV Transportation. 

He currently chairs the Compensation Committee at Perma-Pipe International Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: PPIH), a publicly listed company on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange.

A Board Leadership Fellow with the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), Mr. Brown earned the NACD Directorship Certification in June 2022 and was a founding member of the Dallas chapter of the Private Directors Association. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.  

David and his wife, Amy, reside in Dallas, Texas, and have two adult children.
