Joseph Land’s entrepreneurial journey began with a dream of playing professional baseball. Drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers, that path shifted after a career-ending injury. “I had a dream to play professional baseball but God had a greater plan—and a sense of humor. He put me in the transportation business.”

Mr. Land was the founder and former CEO of The Joseph Land Group, Inc., a temperature-controlled logistics and transportation company. Over a 25-year period, he grew the business from a startup into a national operation with 1,500 trucks, 23 offices, and more than 2,000 employees, generating $179 million in annual revenue. 

The company was recognized by PricewaterhouseCoopers as the 8th largest refrigerated logistics provider in North America and one of the 20 largest private companies in South Carolina. Mr. Land successfully exited the business in 1994.

Mr. Land brings deep experience in team development, strategic execution, and disciplined operations—applying his faith based principles to to American Health at Home providers. 

A graduate of the University of South Carolina, he served as Captain of the USC baseball team, an early testament to his dedication and leadership. He now resides in Charleston, South Carolina, with his wife, Jennifer, and is a proud father of eight and grandfather to five.
