Chairman of the Board

Joseph Land is passionate about ensuring American families receive the care and dignity they deserve, and serves as Chairman of American Health at Home to support providers delivering care in the home.

Mr. Land originally started The Joseph Land Group, Inc., a temperature-controlled logistics and transportation company, and served as its Chief Executive Officer for more than 25 years. During that period, he grew the business from its inception into a national operation with approximately 1,500 trucks, 23 offices, and more than 2,000 employees, generating $179 million in annual revenue.

Under his leadership, the company became one of the largest refrigerated logistics providers in North America and was recognized by PricewaterhouseCoopers among the top private companies in South Carolina. Mr. Land successfully exited the business in 1994.

Throughout his career, Mr. Land has focused on building durable organizations grounded in strong faith, disciplined operations, and long-term thinking. 

Mr. Land is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he served as Captain of the varsity baseball team. He resides in Charleston, South Carolina with his wife, Jennifer, and is a father of 3 daughters and grandfather of 5 children.
