Michael Bundy

Michael Bundy brings more than two decades of health care leadership experience to the board. 

He currently serves as the chief executive officer for Prisma Health Midlands Market, an organization with $1.604 billion (as of fiscal year 2023) and employing over 10,100 people. 

He previously served as the CEO of Prima’s Richland Campus, Baptist Hospital and Baptist Parkridge Hospital. Prior to joining Prisma Health, Bundy was senior vice president and chief operating officer at Cape Cod Healthcare in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.  

Previously, Bundy worked with MedAssets Advisory Solutions, Alpharetta, Georgia, on performance improvement projects across the country. He also held several operations leadership roles with Wellmont Health System, Kingsport, Tennessee. He served for eight years in the U.S. Army as part of the United Nations Command, the 82nd Airborne Division and the U.S. Army Rangers. 

Bundy earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from West Virginia University in Morgantown, and a master’s of business administration from Tiffin University in Tiffin, Ohio. He and his wife, Amanda, live in Blythewood. He has a grown son, Gavin.
